Yes it's a dive, but it's the most legit hole of all of Nashville's walls.

YUM!! Stopped in here for an early dinner and they hooked us up! They have every kind of meat you can think of including lengua, barbacoa, shrimp, fish, house made chorizo... as well as all the usuals: carne asada, chicken, carnitas. AND nothing on the menu is more than like 7 or 8 bucks. They also have house made salsas but be warned they are *very* spicy. I'll admit I don't have the highest heat tolerance but even the spice lovers in my group thought it was way up there on the heat scale. In addition to the tacos, quesadillas, burritos, etc, they have a butcher counter with many many cuts of all types of meat and they also make deli sandwiches - gonna have to try next time! I know there are a lot of Mexican spots in this neighborhood to choose from, but this one is not to be missed!

Service is great, they're very nice and the food comes out pretty quickly. I've tried about 5 things on the menu but I recommend keeping it simple with Burritos, tacos and Tortas. -

Oh man what a disappointment. After two bites, I threw this cardboard sandwich away and bought a real one from firehouse subs down the street.
Save yourself the time and don't go here
